Montco Offshore, Inc., (www.Montco.com) was founded by the Orgeron family in 1948. Over its 50+ years, the company has served the offshore energy industries with crew boats, ocean- going tugs, deck barges, supply boats, and liftboats. Today, Montco specializes in liftboats ranging in size from 145 feet to 245 feet which provide the best quality and safety of service for customers requiring versatile elevated vessels/work-platforms.

Since beginning our liftboat operations in 1978, Montco's mission has always been to provide our customers with exceptionally maintained liftboats manned by experienced & knowledgeable personnel.  Over time, this combination has proven to be the best way to allow our customer's work to be completed in the most cost-effective, environmentally responsible, and overall safest manner for both our crew and the customers onboard.

Christie Industries -- Established in 1988, this Houma-based shipyard has 300ft of bulk-headed waterfront property on the Houma Navigation Channel and acts as the primary facility for the maintenance and repair of Montco Offshore's entire liftboat fleet. Christie Industries has most amenities of a full-service shipyard including: a 25-ton all-terrain crane with 70 feet of boom reach; 750cfm air compressor with dockside manifold; welding, sandblasting, & painting equipment; and a 5-man crew on call 24×7and 2 service trucks. Christie Industries complies with all OSHA safety & environmental regulations with safety equipment including eyewash station, acid-wash showers, as well as an oil containment boom with response boat.
